Properties
DADMAC is a high-purity, polymer-grade, quaternary ammonium salt and high charge density cationic monomer. It is a colorless and transparent liquid, highly stable at room temperature, odorless, non-hydrolyzed, and soluble in water at any ratio.
Applications
- Textile Auxiliaries: Used as a superior formaldehyde-free fixing agent and antistatic agent in dyeing and finishing.
- Paper Making: Functions as an AKD curing accelerator and conductive agent.
- Water Treatment: Applied in decoloring, flocculation, and purification processes.
- Cosmetic Chemicals: Used as a shampoo combing agent, wetting agent, and antistatic agent.
- Oilfield Chemicals: Acts as a flocculating agent and clay stabilizer.
